Would technology still be as common as it is today even if they function differently? Back in the 1970s, the idea of having a personal calculating machine is far fetch. Computers back then are not as easy to use like those that we have today. Steve Jobs has a great dispersion to make computer to be easier to access. During 1977, Steve Jobs changed the way the world thinks about personal computer after him and his friend released a computer called the orchard apple tree II, the first computer that was factory built, inexpensive and easy to use (Lam, 2011, Para.19). The Apple Company was originally started with Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. Jobs and Wozniak bonded over their interests in computers and also their passion for music (Isaacson, 2011, Pg.43). Despite both of them being college dropouts, Jobs and Wozniak started Apple on their knowledge only with the money that they raised from selling things that they owned (Isaacson, Pg.91). Sometime later, Jobs and Wozniak had fallout , Wozniak ended up leaving the company and Jobs got removed from his own company. Even with all of the odds, Jobs never gave up he created a new computer company called NeXT, which was bought by Apple because the company is about to go bankrupt. Steve Jobs was voted to break down the permanent CEO. Jobs completely changed the way Apple works he shut down all the unimportant projects and focused mainly on computer. He gave Apple the cure for its bankruptcy problem by inventing ingenious devices that changed our culture. He forever altered the language of computer interface. Along the way, he built Apple up into one of the most valuable corporations in the world. Steve Jobs has a great influence over the foundation of the Apple Company and the technology that we have today. Steve J... ... as enkindle and lively as ever. Bears If you talk to the animals, they will talk to you, and you will know each other. If you do non talk to them, you will not know them, and what you do not know you will fear. What one fears, one destroys. This was said by Chief Dan George and is special K with piecey wild animals here in North America one animal in particular, the bear. There are three different types of bears in North America brown (or grizzly), polar, and black. The most common in the Northern Virginia area are black bears (Palmer & Lickley, 2001). Though the Native Americans respected and even revered bears, they became a symbol of danger, aggression, violence, and fear for the white man as he moved onto Native American lands. Today, people fear bears because of stories theyve heard about attacks, movies theyve watched, or various personal reasons, but here is a different story. Bear attacks are very rare. Over the past one hundred years, fewer than fifty people have died from griz zly bear attacks, and provided one hundred and fifty such attacks have been reported as serious (Animal Planet, 2004). Bears do not attack just because they are bears and its their personality in fact, they are not naturally aggressive. Past and current events have affected bears and the way people view them, but bears are not felonious creatures that attack at will. Encounters with bears do not have to be horrible there are steps a person can take to examine their own safety and the safety of the bear. First, why do bears attack? Bears are animals and act instinctively in order to survive. They are omnivores, so they eat both meat and plants, such as berry or flowered plants, rodents, and fish. Bears are social, predictable (if you understand them), curious about their environment, and they put ont have an agenda. They confront in a dominance hierarchy and they are not territorial, but they will defend their personal space (Emerald Air Service, 2004). Every bear va ries and has a different comfort zone. Some bears, usually younger ones, will approach objects they are curious about within two inches, while other bears dont get within two miles of something new.

In both stories, it is genuinely clear that women are powerful. The power that is referred to herein is non physical but rather emotional. The power that women hurl over men makes them make mistakes some of which turn out to be costly.In Much Ado About Nothing, the main female character Hero seems to be at the center of all the argument that goes on throughout the story. Claudio who had earned recognition by his army leader Don Pedro in the croak couple of battles has his eyes on the daughter of the Governor of Messina, Leonato. Don Pedro, however, offered to woo Hero on behalf of Claudio (Shakespeare, p. 32). unrivaled cannot help the great efforts that the men in this story have put for the sake of women. Don John, the dump brother Don Pedro makes Claudio believe that Don Pedro is in fact wooing Hero form himself and not for Claudio as agreed (Shakespeare, p. 24)In The Odyssey, Odyssey is believed to be dead after he failed to return from war. His wife genus genus Penelope has attracted many suitors all of who are interested. They all hope to get a chance to court crimson if she has made it clear that she does not want to remarry (Parks, p. 28). They are all patient and they are hoping that Penelope is going to change her and consider one of them. When Penelope is asked by the many suitors why she will not give them consideration and yet her husband is already, she argues that she needs to complete funeral arrangements (Lister, p. 14). They still wait even if the funeral arrangements do not seem to come to an end.

Input, Interaction and Sla Essay

When reading the news Essentials for Successful English Language Teaching by Farrell, T. S.C., & Jacobs, G., I am really impressed with chapter 4 Integrated Curricular especially the classroom implications part. It reflects the particular that vocabulary teaching should find the connection with other subjects in the curricular as well as learners needs and experience in order to motivate and engage students into the encyclopedism process. This is a good way to encourage the students to learn English efficiently and independently since instructors should devise ship canal to succor their students apply English into everyday life.As an English teacher, I forever and a day inspire my students to the new ways of learn such as dictation running, vocabulary guessing, board hitting, field trip writing, and so on which can give as much help as possible to those who really want to meliorate their knowledge through English. By using the term enrich their knowledge through English, I mean that English is not just a mandatory subject that students have to learn structures and vocabularies it too provides a wide range of findings and knowledge related to different fields. And chapter 4 in the said book indicates just what I need since I applied these ways of teaching to my communication skills classrooms. However, I have some concern regarding the possibility of applying this method to all levels in Vietnam or just English big league and students landing fielding communication skills?When I read the article titled Shifting rolesFrom linguistic communication teachers to learning advisors by Brian R. Morrison and Diego Navarro, I change my belief about the role of a teacher in a language classroom. Since I started teaching English, Ive always believed that a good English teacher is the one who always makes good preparations for lessons before classes and delivers them well in the classroom. By deliver them well, I mean the lessons ar interesting and understandab le to students. However, recently in the last meeting of a Listening course Im in charge of, some students asked me whether I could help them with some more reference books for study outside classroom.Although I provided one reference book for this course in the syllabus, when asked this question, I suddenly effected that the number of extra materials I provided was so few that they didnt help students much at all. Moreover, students in addition shared their worries about learning other skills such as Reading, Writing and Speaking, which makes me feel that as a teacher I fail to offer what students really need such as learning stralegies,etc. Therefore, after reading the article mentioned above, I think that the role of a teacher as a learning advisor is really important. However, I wonder if the role of a teacher as a learning advisor will replace the role of a teacher as a language teacher completely,or there should be a combination of the two roles of a teacher in a language cl assroom.
