Th ey are more densely populated around major cities such as common salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Denver in the south. In the north there is Prince George and Williams Lake.In conclusion, Topography, climate and vegetation greatly sour the economy of regions as well as the settlement patterns.
